But what problems should you pay attention to when customizing attic shelves?
What do you need to pay attention to custom attic shelves?
First of all, the ground bearing parameters of the warehouse are very important. If your warehouse ground load is only 1 ton, the attic shelf will also withstand 1 ton, which will lead to the ground sinking or deformation, and even the collapse of 2 or 3 floors, resulting in safety accidents.
Second, the layout of the factory warehouse, we must pay attention to the fluidity of the material after the construction of the shelf, because the layout is different, the size of the shelf, load-bearing, loading and unloading equipment and other aspects may be different.
The size of the goods or containers on the attic shelves can be customized, but the shelf manufacturer tries to give the recommended size according to the size of the goods and the specifications of the warehouse. On the one hand, they are very professional, on the other hand, if there is a problem, they can also share some responsibility.
Fourth, the attic shelves of the handling equipment need to consider the turning channel radius of the handling equipment, the size of the handling equipment and other factors.
Fifth, the flow of goods, the storage time of all kinds of goods in the warehouse is different, so it is necessary to consider the form or storage method of goods in and out of the warehouse, find the appropriate way to place, and achieve the storage shelf with high space utilization.
How much weight can attic shelves bear?
Every shelf has a load-bearing range, and attic shelves are no exception. The weight of the goods stored in daily use must not exceed the bearing range of the attic shelf, otherwise it will cause damage to the shelf, and there is a risk of collapse. Therefore, before customizing attic shelves, it is necessary to understand the general load-bearing range of attic shelves in advance.
The load-bearing capacity of the attic shelves is calculated in square meters. The load-bearing capacity of the general attic shelf is between 300 kg and 800 kg per square meter. If the weight of the goods exceeds this standard, it is necessary to customize the corresponding bearing capacity with the manufacturer. Manufacturers can use better load-bearing materials, such as I-beam attic shelves, but the cost will undoubtedly be higher than ordinary attic shelves. Some shelf manufacturers do not have the ability to produce heavy attic shelves, order to ask clearly. In the arrangement of cargo storage, large and heavy goods are usually placed on the first floor, while small and medium-sized goods with relatively light weight are placed on other floors, which not only facilitates daily loading and unloading work, but also helps to relieve the load-bearing pressure on the upper shelves of the attic.
Attic shelves can generally bear 200kg to 500kg per square meter. If the load-bearing demand exceeds 500 kilograms per square meter, you can customize the H-shaped attic shelf, the load-bearing capacity of the H-shaped attic shelf can reach about 1 ton per square meter. However, compared with ordinary attic shelves, the production cost of I-shaped attic shelves is higher, mainly due to the high price of raw materials, and the production process requirements of shelf manufacturers are higher.
